We process files you upload to the platform:

Images: .jpg, .png, .gif, .webp, .svg (max 10MB)
PDFs (max 5MB)
Documents: .txt, .doc, .docx, .csv, .md, .rtf (max 2MB)
Maximum 5 files per upload

Usage & Analytics

We track:

API usage and cost monitoring for resource allocation
Conversation logs and interaction history with the AI
Content interactions (starred messages, saved items)

3. How We Store Your Data

Database Location & Security

All user data is stored securely on our private Supabase database (PostgreSQL). Data is:

Encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS

Backed up regularly for disaster recovery
Accessible only through secure API endpoints

Data Processing & Retention

Your data is processed as follows:

Conversation data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing
Images and documents are compressed and text is extracted before processing
Claude API processes data according to Anthropic's privacy policy
Conversation history and starred items are stored in our Supabase database
Your data is retained indefinitely while your account is active

Empire by Design uses the following third-party services:

Anthropic's Claude API

We use Claude for AI-powered coaching and content generation. Your conversations and business context are sent to Anthropic for processing. Refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

Database Storage

We use secure database hosting and data storage. Your brand profiles, conversation history, and starred messages are stored in our chosen platforms' PostgreSQL database.

Human Design & Astrology APIs

We use GeoNames and astrology data providers to calculate Human Design charts and astrological insights. Your birth data (date, time, location) is used for these calculations.

5. Your Rights & Data Access

Right to Access

You can access, view, and download your personal data at any time through your brand profile and Brand Vault in the Empire by Design portal.

Right to Modification

You can modify your business profile, brand setup, and stored content at any time through the platform. Simply edit the information in the relevant tabs.

Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data. To request deletion:

Provide your access code or user identifier
We will delete all data associated with your account within 5 days of receipt.

Data Portability

You can request a portable copy of your data in a structured format. Contact us and we will provide your brand profiles, conversation history, and stored files.

6. Data Deletion Policy

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

All brand profiles and setup information
Conversation history and coaching notes
Brand Vault documents and uploaded files
Starred messages and saved content
Personal data including birth information
Access codes and session information

Deletion Timeline

Once deletion is requested:

Your account access is immediately revoked
All data is marked for deletion in our database
Permanent deletion occurs within 30 days
Backups are maintained for 90 days for disaster recovery, then deleted
A confirmation email is sent once deletion is complete

Access code-based authentication (no password systems)

Founding members receive unlimited usage of Empire by Design. To maintain platform stability and protect against abuse, we may monitor for:
